 DISCOVERING THE 

 CHESHIRE ACCENT 

The Discovery of the Cheshire Accent is a project which explores a sound recording from a small Cheshire village, dated 1957. It highlights a strong accent from the past which in modern times seems to have been lost.

 

This animation explores that accent through abstract typography. Typography developed from Cheshire's rich tapestry of historic landmarks and industrial heritage.
